Unfortunately the lucky never realizes they are lucky until it's too late. Take yourself for instance; yesterday you were better off than you are off today but it took today for you to realize it. But today has arrived and it's too late. You see? People are never happy with what they have. They want what they had, or what others have. The grass is always greener on the other side.

Thanks to the whole MBDrift crew for another great day of drifting! Good to see everyone again! Exciting for sure, with breaking walls, wall scrapes and even fires!!! That was a hell of a track set-up, kicked my ass all day with that sweeper and clipping point but fun and fast! I'm pretty sure Joe was going to make sure the track was challenging to keep on top!!! It worked! Good job Decepticons as usual. It seemed like most of us had something breaking on our cars throughout the day, might be some kind of Decepticons conspiracy Grin

Don you were killing it! Did you eat your wheaties that morning or what?! Glad you and Alan were okay after the wall taps. I really thought Alan was going to be hurt on that one! Glad you weren't!!

I have about 80 videos I'll start uploading. Alan's crash is just a teaser! I have pictures too.

I do have a question for the judges. I'm still baffled by this, as is everyone, every month.....since when does a spin not count as a zero? This topic is discussed after every competition in the pits every month. A spin is a total loss of control of your vehicle. There is no recovery from that. It is what it is, a zero. If you spin in your 2 qualifying runs you would get a zero, right? And you would not qualify. Why, if you spin in competition is that not a zero? If you both spin or one in each run that would be a one-more-time? There doesn't seem to be consistency in the judging on this one from month to month. Is there a clear cut rule on this?

ALAN CRASH

daaamn. that shit looks like it hurt. so who got podeum spots?
And there needs to be something said about spins. I havnt gone in ... a while and I still hear about spins being let slide. The one time I judged with allen it was a clear cut, if you spin you got a zero. why is it so hard this year to get that right? doesnt matter how good the person is doing before that. it could be tsuchiya himself and it would still count as a zero.

Im just tired of hearing this EVERY round now.

That is correct, A Damn will be back for the October event.  Hoping my car gets put back together by a midget an elvis look a like and maybe a crashaholic while I'm gone.  I will probably be rolling into town about 24 hours prior to the event starting.  fingers crossed.  Either way I'll be there though.

Is there a video missing between Alan and Joe in the finals, I only saw three....  there was Joe leading and alan in the lexy, and then alan leading in the s14 and joe following....  but i only saw the one run of joe leading again in the one moar time, but didnt see the other vid.

Im glad Alan is okay that looked scary!!!  now i see why the K rail was talked about, and probably needs to be talked about again. Hope the car is okay, and Bill doesnt freak out too bad.

Congrats on yet another exciting event, wish i coulda made it yo!

We will see yall next month!

Joe slid towards the wall and stopped a helmet's width from the same wall. It was decided between Joe and Alan to have the judges use the numbers from their individual scores for the decision rather than run "balls to the wall" again.
